Biographies of animated cartoon characters

We all daily watch our favorite animated characters pull off silly tricks, fight monsters, sing and dance with joy and cry rivers when sad. Cartoon characters are always full of surprises. At one time or the other they rule the topic of your informal discussions. A lot of weekends are spent discussing the lives of many funny cartoons. Many a times you must have wondered how these characters come into being. Each and every animated cartoon character is the brain child of some or the other cartoonist. Many of the characters were born without any conscious effort. The cartoonists kept coming up with drawings and without even realizing that they were drawing history. Let’s take a sneak-peak into the lives of some of the characters.

Bugs Bunny

Bugs Bunny is the carrot munching funny animated cartoon character created by Tex Avery in about 1940. He debuted in A Wild Hare, where he first spoke "What's up, Doc?” which became his trademark line. Bugs bunny is the wackiest of all the cartoon characters. In the series he is oftentimes seen battling Elmer Fudd who is always after his life. Thankfully, he has been successful in saving his skin on every single instance. He is also an academy award holder for one of its funniest performances in Knighty Knight in 1958.

Jasmine

We all know who Alladin is but unfortunately we do not know much about his ladylove Jasmine. Lets take a closer look into her life. Jasmine is probably amongst the youngest of all the characters. She was born on 25 November 1992. She is the daughter of the Sultan or the king of Agrabah, the magical land. Fierce and independent by nature, she hates being concealed within the walls of her palace. Her quest for adventure introduces her to Aladdin and they together go on to fight the evil forces and save Agrabah.

Hello Kitty

Even if you would have missed out the Hello Kitty cartoon but one cannot miss the Hello Kitty drawing found on everything from T-shirts to mugs. Hello Kitty is the popular cartoon drawing that was created by the Sanrio Company, Japan in 1974. Hello Kitty is a white kitten without a mouth. Without even uttering a single word this kitten inspires all to be happy.

Pinocchio

Could you even imagine that a cartoon character could be more than hundred years old. Carlo Collodi an Italian journalist created Pinocchio in 1881. Absolutely unbelievable. Pinocchio is a wooden puppet who magically comes to life. However, he has a major concern. Every time he lies his nose just expands. Feeling relieved that the same does not happen with you?

Batman

The action hero Batman's year of birth is 1939. Though he has reached an elderly age still his youthful stunts never fail to leave one open jawed. He was created by the famous cartoonist Bob Kane. This mysterious animated cartoon character made his first appearance in detective comics and these comics were in print throughout the century.
