So many idle afternoons are spent discussing the antics of the funniest cartoons. Here we will not touch upon the more sensitive issues. We have compiled a list of the most famous animated characters. The list is not endless, so if your loved animated carton character is missing it is just a problem of oversight. You can also forgive us given the confusion we ourselves faced in compiling this list.

Bugs Bunny
One of the most ‘influential’ and funniest characters, Bugs seems to be fading away. Bugs was created in 1940 by Tex Avery and was part of the Warner Brothers family. Bugs Bunny won the Academy Award for Animation in 1958.
SpongeBob Squarepants
Born in 1999, this animated character is the youngest to have made it to this list, thanks to his immense popularity. Bob is yellow, absorbent and lives underwater at Bikini Bottom. Bob starred in his first movie in 2004 with Alec Baldwin and Scarlett Johansson.
The Simpsons
The Simpsons were created in 1988 by Matt Groening. The ever bungling and ugly Simpsons already have one of the most popular tele-series to their name.
This list is just a stub of the most famous characters. We understand that this is one of the most controversial lists but you are free to create your own lists.
