Cool and trendy products featuring cartoon characters

The most popular animated cartoons and comic strip of the past century have been viewed and enjoyed by generations. Let's just say Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Tom and Jerry, Scooby-Doo, Charlie Brown, The Flintstones - you still see their shows and cartoon strips not because the creators and producers have not worked since then but simply because they are still loved and adored by children and adults all over the world. Cool cartoon drawings became a rage in mid nineties. So much so that many companies adopted them as their company logos. Comic characters established their rule in every possible way. Soon the national parades were incomplete without balloons in the shape of cartoons. Now comic strip characters and animated cartoon characters come in a flexible, posable, nonviolent product form.

As the cartoon characters gained popularity and established their space into the hearts of millions, their creators realised that a cartoon character should not be restricted to animated cartoon shows and comic strip only. People were just not able to get enough of them. They kept asking for more and more. Slowly but steadily, cartoon shaped dolls and toys and balloons were seen stashed away at toy shop counters. They became the perfect gift for any occasion be it birthdays, Christmas or New Year, to name a few. Comic strip characters like superman and batman were soon available in the form of action figure dolls. The counter sale of such toys broke all sales records. They used to be out of stock the moment they were procured.

The cartoon fever kept spreading. Then came a time when cartoon drawings were splashed on all products, accessories and items imaginable. Bags, pens, towels, shirts, car seat covers, curtains or bed spreads, all had cartoon drawings featured on them. They looked cool and trendy as well. However, the real cartoon products phenomena started with Hello Kitty, a cartoon drawing, in the year 1974 when it was created. Girls especially pre teens were crazy about this mouthless white kitten. Hello Kitty was adopted by many celebrities as fashion statement. Hello Kitty later featured in animated cartoon pictures as well.

The cartoon products and accessories sold like hot cakes all around the globe. The creators started coming up with better and innovative products with change of time. They launched video and computer games featuring their animated or comic strip character. Such products with cool cartoon drawings are still a rage amongst kids today. Dido and Yappy are also featured on a range of products. They both are committed to ensure that you come up with a cool style statement with these cute and trendy Dido and Yappy products
